Background: Rugby Singapore PTE LTD is wholly owned by the Singapore Rugby Union and is responsible for the planning and execution of leading rugby events in Singapore with a commercial view to enhancing the profitability and viability of such events in the development of Rugby in Singapore. This will include hosted events such as the Singapore leg of Sevens World Series and other events under the portfolio of Rugby Singapore.

1) Job Title: Operations Manager

Reports to: General Manager

Summary of Role: The role will be responsible for the smooth running of the operations and logistic planning for specific premier rugby events such as the Singapore leg of Sevens World Series.

Job Role:
         · Responsible for the operations and logistic plans and execution of Rugby Singapore events, namely the Singapore leg of the Sevens World Series.
         · Development and management of event production timelines.
         · To work closely with stakeholders, venue owners and relevant appointed agencies to ensure the delivery of the event.
         · Develop a sustainable partnership with service providers and partners.
         · Adhere to team services and technical requirements of World Rugby.
         · To ensure the set-up of facilities and requirements for the teams are well underway prior to the arrival of the teams.
         · Negotiation with suppliers and sourcing for quotes when necessary.
         · Work closely with police and security companies when necessary.
         · Ensure all necessary licenses are applied for.
         · Troubleshooting and problem solving.
         · Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide 1st class event.
         · Ensure the smooth running of the operation, ensuring the amenities and temporary structure load-in and load-out are on schedule.
         · To co-ordinate all operations related work.
         · Prepare a variety of reports on operations such as load-in and load-out plan, security plan, staffing utilization, event related crowd control and risk management issues.
         · To work closely with the appointed EMC and consultant in the compilation of Rugby Sevens Operation Manual.

Skills & Experience Required:
         · Minimum of 4 years of experience in the events organising. Experience in international sporting events is an advantage.
         · Able to manage multiple projects.
         · Ability to liaise with and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
         · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
         · Able to work weekends and public holiday if needed.
         · Problem solving skills and deductive reasoning abilities.
         · Excellent organization skills and time management skills.
         · Work independently in the absence of supervision.

2) Job Title: Finance and Administrative Executive

Reports to: Finance Manager (SRU) and General Manager (Rugby Singapore)

Summary of Job Role: To work closely with Singapore Rugby Union’s Financial Manager in relation to the financial management and oversight of proper accounting and procurement procedures with regards to external and internal financial transactions of all persons operating under the auspices of Rugby Singapore. The development and implementation of structures for the reporting of monthly financial statements to the Board of Directors including the preparation of such reports will be a key role of the position.

Job Role:
        · Responsible for the monthly management accounts and annual reports.
        · Assist the Finance Manager in the implementation of financial plans.
        · Reconcile balance sheets.
         · Assist the General Manager and Finance Manager to manage budgets.
         · Assist the Finance Manager to handle debtors.
         · Monitor cash flows statements.
         · Assist the Finance Manager to conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction.
         · Develop external relationships, for example; solicitors, bankers, Inland Revenue.
         · Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
         · Arrange new sources of finance and debt facilities.
         · Assist the Finance Manager to ensure that all transactional, payroll and taxation requirements   are met.
         · Keep on top of changes in regulation and legislation and new industry developments.

 Skills & Experience Required:
         · Minimum of 2 year experience in the area of managing accounts for a multinational company.
         · Relevant experience in finance, accounting or financial management preferred.
         · Familiar with the use of the UBS accounting system is an advantage.
         · Possess good accounting experience with tax knowledge is an advantage.
         · Excellent eye for detail, diligent knowledge of accounting regulations.
         · Excellent commercial flair and industry experience.
         · Experience in the events industry is an advantage.
         · Support the team in administrative functions.
         · Able to work weekends and public holidays if necessary.
         · Minimum education level : Diploma

3) Job Title: Marketing and Communications Manager

Reports to: General Manager

Summary of Role: The role will be responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing, communication and ticketing strategy for specific premier rugby events such as the Singapore leg of Sevens World Series and develop an overarching strategy for the marketing of key rugby events under Rugby Singapore.

Job Role:
         · To develop and implement integrated marketing strategies and programmes for specific events to drive awareness, ticket sales and is in line with the overall strategy of the Rugby Singapore.
         · To build and manage consumer relations management (CRM) systems to augment marketing initiatives.
         · To develop initiatives and collaborate with external stakeholders.
         · Be responsible for the management of marketing & communication budgets for events and Rugby Singapore.
         · To development and implementation of public relations and communications strategy.
         · To oversee the execution of marketing, public relations and communication plans.
         · To oversee the execution of the ticketing strategy.
         · To work closely and manage appointed agencies that are involved in marketing, public relations and ticketing to ensure that Rugby Singapore’s objectives are met.
         · To work closely with the Commercial Manager to develop sponsorship packages and hospitality packages for the events.
         · To identify and negotiate with specialize service providers.

Skills & Experience Required:
         · Minimum of 4 years in marketing, public relations and communications. Experience in digital marketing is an advantage.
         · Experience in developing integrated marketing campaigns. Working knowledge of digital tools is an advantage.
         · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
