Team To Represent Singapore In 2015 Commonwealth Youth Games (Rugby 7s)


Singapore Rugby Union is pleased to announce the team to represent Team Singapore (Rugby 7s) at The Commonwealth Youth Games 2015 in Samoa.

The squad consisting of 3 officials and 12 athletes will depart Singapore for Apia, Samoa on 2nd September 2015, and returning to Singapore on 13th September 2015.

The last time Singapore was invited to The Commonwealth Youth Games was in 2004, Bendigo. That team consisted of ex SEA Games player, Hadizan Jaaman, and current SEA Games players, Bryan Ng and Derek Chia. As well as current Singapore Men's 15s players Reiner Leong and Gabriel Lee. These players once pit their skills against the likes of England's Danny Cipriani, Danny Care, Alex Rae, Jordan Turner-Hall and David Tait and Australia's (Christian Lealiifano and Jono Jenkins).

The 2015 Commonwealth Youth Games will take place at the Apia Park Sports Complex between 9 to 11th September.
