This weekend sees the first ever Super Rugby game played on our shores, which promises to be a great experience for all involved in Super Rugby. Despite some changes in fixtures, there will be a World First Premiership Game and a World First Challenge Cup afternoon game this week to round off a true rugby weekend.

On Friday night, the ladies take centre stage as Bucks face Blacks in the finals of the women's league. This game will be live streamed and it promises to be cracker of a game Bucks ladies have certainly come a long way and the womens rugby scene is all the better for it. Blacks Womens Wing are the pioneers of womens rugby in Singapore and are looking to re-establish their dominance in the game. This will be one to watch for sure.

Saints played a gusty game against Bedok Kings last weekend and came out 12 – 7 winners in a wet and boggy game. Mhd Iqbal from Saints was the standout of that game as he controlled the backline with class at scrumhalf. Bedok fought back in the second half and looked to have something in the tank to sneak out a win but it was a gritty phase of play led by ever green prop Jon leow that saw Saints centre Nicholas Yau scored to seal the win.

Bedok are also in the hunt for a top four finish in the World First Premiership and will want to take the positives out of their game against Saints as they head into this week's game against Bucks. Bucks have had an up and down season so far, with new head coach Neil Best yet to find the right formula for a side that has some impressive talent in the likes of Charlie Lambert. Bedok will hope to see the return of some of their key personnel to the field soon, with the likes of Simon Demergue and Viki out indefinitely. Bucks were hit hard against the SCC in last week's game and it will be seen if they can bounce back after that loss.

SCC 1^st XV are looking to cement their position as second with a good showing against the World First Lions, who showed promise in the first half when they played Wanderers last week. The SCC are looking to come good in the second round, with some trademark performances in the forwards. Ben Turner and Taylor Haynes in particular in the backline have been impressive and look for them to try and run at every opportunity in the upcoming games. The World First Lions are a work in progress for sure, but the unearthing of some youthful talent holds some promise for the future of Singapore Rugby.
