2016 WADA Prohibited List


Please find attached the 2016 WADA Prohibited List of substances and methods prohibited in sport and applicable to Rugby effective from January 1, 2016.

Also attached are the following supporting documents:

  • 2016 Explanatory Notes (outlines the modifications from the 2015 Prohibited List to the 2016 Prohibited List)
  • 2016 Monitoring Programme (Outlines the substances placed on WADA’smonitoring programme)

The 2016 Prohibited List and the supporting documents are also available for download and reference on the World Rugby anti-doping website under the Resources tab www.keeprugbyclean.com

Team Singapore’s Route to Asia Rugby Olympic Qualifiers




Singapore’s Men will be travelling to Hong Kong for the Asia Rugby Olympic Qualifiers today, 5th November 2015. After completing the Asia Rugby Sevens Series 2015 last month, Singapore is currently ranked as one of the top 7 teams in Asia. The team even capped off their best performance ever at the Societe Generale Singapore Cricket Club (SCC) International Rugby 7s 2015 by reaching the Plates Quarter Finals last weekend. Singapore’s Men will look to carry on their good form at the Asia Rugby Olympic Qualifiers where they are grouped with South Korea, China, Chinese Taipei and Rugby World Cup Nation, Japan.

World Rugby Goggles Global Law Trial

In an effort to allow people who need to wear corrective lenses to do so safely while playing Rugby and to accommodate people with monocular vision or chronic eye conditions who wish to wear goggles while playing Rugby, World Rugby has developed specific goggles – “Rugby Goggles”. Rugby Goggles have been developed with a view to posing no additional risk to the wearer and other players.

New Zealand Rugby Experience Camp!


This is the 4th year Martin Stanley (brother of All Black Joe) has brought his coaching troop up from New Zealand and we are delighted to have them back providing loads of rugby skills training and the teaching of the Haka and other Pacific Islands traditions!

Tim Horan (2-time RWC winner) will also be joining in the fun on Thursday, 9th July from 2:00 to 3:00pm.

The NZRE camp is hosted by Centaurs Group and is open to every rugby-loving kid from 6 to 18 years old.
