Standard Chartered Bank Mini Rugby Tournament 2015 (Round 1)

On the 14th of February 2015 Singapore Rugby Union kicked off the year event for the Junior Rugby with its first tournament, Standard Chartered Bank Mini Rugby Tournament under 11 and under 13 (Round 1).

The year-end Standard Chartered Bank Mini Rugby tournament for the Under 11 and Under 13 was held at Yio Chu Kang Stadium on the 18th of November 2014. It was a wet morning which saw rain throughout the tournament but fortunately there were no lightning warning, the rain was light and field conditions were good. Tournament went on with 11 schools participating in both category of the tournament.

Singaporeans Reiner Leong & Jonathan Lee at Rugby World Club 10s

Singaporean Rugby players Reiner Leong & Jonathan Lee share their experience at the 1st ever Rugby World Club 10s. Reiner featured for the Asia Pacific Dragons scoring 3 tries, while Jonathan received a surprise call up to the Biarritz Olympique side. They were also the 1st Singaporeans to play at an elite competition at the new National Stadium. What did they gain from the experience? Plus so much more on our special report & chat.

Reiner Leong becomes first Singaporean to play at new National Stadium

Reiner Leong will become the first Singaporean to play at the new National Stadium when he takes part at this weekend's Rugby World Club 10s. He will also be the only Singaporean to feature in the main competition. Reiner will be playing for the Asia Pacific Dragons. The competition features 8 teams from across the world and is the first event to be held at the new National Stadium.
